Once you’ve mastered the basics of Bridal styling, there is no limit to what you’ll be able to achieve. This hands-on course is designed to let you get creative with hair of all lengths, so you can design and produce unique hairstyles for the most demanding Bride! You will learn how to adapt and improve skills and techniques, use alternative tools and products to produce on-trend, artistic, yet commercial hair styles. Increase your confidence and learn how to really enjoy long hair occasion styling. You’ll have the chance to use different tools, products and a wide range of accessories and will be encouraged to photograph your work to add to your styling portfolio.

•Client Consultation

•Try out my favourite tools, techniques and products to help build your own styling kit

•Different curling techniques… and why it helps if you know them all!

•Working with Proportion, Balance, Volume to create and adapt your hairstyles

•How much is ‘enough’ backcombing and how to make it work for you every time

•Time saving tricks, techniques and how to make ‘messy hair’ last till the last dance!

•Create on-trend chignons, pleats, messy Buns, knots, twists and braids

•New ideas for Half Up & Half Down styling for Brides and Bridesmaids

•How and when to use padding, extra hair and hair stitching

•Bridal business advice and Bridal party management skills

10.30am to 4.30pm. Tea, Coffee and soft drinks will be supplied. You will need a 22” long hair training head mannequin which we are able to supply if necessary, but we do advise you to buy your own so you can practise whenever you feel creative! All other tools, products and equipment will be supplied for your use throughout the day.
